Chatbot conversion goals tracking

Similar to how you can define conversion goals in tools like Google Analytics, you can define and track conversions in SmartBot360 chatbots. For example, making an appointment or collecting a patient’s email may be conversion goals.

Specifically, you can mark specific boxes in a Flow Diagram bot as Conversion boxes, and then monitor in the ANALYTICS page how many chats reached these boxes. Here are the detailed instructions.

Step 1

Go to SETTINGS→Advanced→Conversions to create one or more conversion goals as shown below.

Step 2

Select what bot state triggers constitutes a conversion. Go to CHATBOTS, load a bot and click on a box that should trigger the conversion. In the example below, we assign the “appointment” conversion goal to the Message box right after the user provides their phone number to make an appointment.

To test that the conversion works, you need to deploy the bot by clicking Save&Deploy.

STEP 3

Chat with the deployed bot to reach the conversion box as shown below.

 
 

Step 4

Go to the ANALYTICS page to view the conversion. To view the actual chat that led to the conversion, select the bot name on the left and go to Conversion Analytics, as shown below.
