Cookies

This feature is only available for users with the Enterprise plan.

This page explains how the chatbot can check the user’s browser cookies to direct the flow of the chat.

Within the left sidebar, the first input box contains userphone, which is the desired cookie that the chatbot will check from the user. The Cookies box contains three outgoing paths: value found, not found, and unavailable.

  • value found: The cookie is found and has a value

  • not found: The cookie is found but has no value

  • unavailable: The cookie isn’t found

The chatbot will direct the flow of the bot according to the value based on one of these three paths. If the cookie’s value is found, it will be stored as a variable under the name that is contained in the second input box on the left sidebar (e.g. Cookies6). If the value is not found or is unavailable, the variable will be set to ‘NOT FOUND’.
