URL Click Tracking

SmartBot360 allows tracking and reporting URL clicks that occur during the chatbot flow.

URL clicks occurring in Web bots are always tracked. Tracking clicks in SMS bots is a premium feature that has to be enabled in your account. Contact customer service to have this enabled.

Insert URLs in Chatbot

To insert a URL in a chatbot, select a box, click on the Edit button in the message box, and click on the hyperlink button, as shown below.


URL Click Analytics

To view how many clicks you have every day, go to ANALYTICS, then click on “URL Clicks” as shown below. You can filter by URL on the dropdown on the right.

You can download the URL Clicks in a CSV format by clicking the “URL Clicks” button on the top row.

URL Click Conversions

You can also track URL clicks as chatbot conversions. To do that, select the conversion goal and check the URL Click tracking button as shown below. Once you do that, you can view the daily conversions in the ANALYTICS page as usual.
